Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Wat Pho

I went to Wat Pho at night on a bicycle tour and it was truly breathtaking.  At night. There are no crowds, it’s a lot cooler and the temples are lit up with an eerie glow, giving the structures more texture. When lit from underneath (rather than above from the sun), you can see all the craftsmanship and work that has gone into the construction of the temple. It really is a sight for sore eyes. Being a profoundly spiritual place, the temple has a sense of peace at night time, which I think might be lost during day.  At night, it glows. A must see in Bangkok.
